Which material should you order for your job?
The right material depends on what the ground has to do: carry weight, drain water, stay put on a slope or look good underfoot. Road base and 57 rock build driveways, fill dirt and base build pads, rip rap holds banks, and pea gravel, decomposed granite and river rock finish paths and beds.

Ordering
How do you order sand, gravel or site work from HARDROCK?
You order from HARDROCK Sand and Gravel by phone or with the estimate form. Give the material or job, the address and a rough size, and HARDROCK calls back with the price and a delivery or work day. HARDROCK opens at 6 AM Monday through Thursday.
Length × Width × Depth (ft) ÷ 27 = cubic yards
A 12 × 20 ft parking area 4 inches deep is 12 × 20 × ⅓ = 80 cubic feet, about 3 cubic yards. Every material page has its own worked example, and HARDROCK can check the math on the phone. Hours are Monday to Thursday 6 AM to 5 PM, Friday 9 AM to 5 PM and Saturday 9 AM to 2 PM; call 903-420-0330 or email dean@hardrocksandandgravel.com.

Couldn't be happier with this company. Called yesterday for help with an issue on my driveway. Talked with Dean the owner, he told me what we needed to do to correct the issue. I asked how soon he thought they might get to it and he said maybe the end of the week. By 8pm the same night, he was on the phone with me asking if it would fit my schedule for his guys to come the next day around noon. His guys were on time, polite, hard working and went out of their way to make sure the job was done perfectly and the price was more than fair. I will definitely use this company for all my sand and gravel needs in the future.

These guys came out to provide material for 1/3 of a mile road that I was installing. One of my pieces of equipment got stuck and Dean spent his afternoon helping to get the equipment unstuck. Very genuine people at HardRock. Fast, reliable, and competitively priced as well.
